Eva St John
Eva St John is the pen name Liz Hurley writes under for science fiction and urban fantasy. Her books are published by Mudlark's Press, the imprint she runs from Mevagissey in Cornwall.
Two series so far, and they're very different animals.
The Norwich Map Runners
Urban fantasy, set in a Norwich that exists in several versions at once. Some people can move between them. Most people would rather not know that.
Detective Eliza "Bish" Barnaby left Norwich once. Coming back means dealing with the city's other layers, the people who run its maps, and a series of deaths that don't behave the way deaths are supposed to.
It's a continuing story rather than a set of cases, so start at the beginning.

About the pen name
Eva St John is one of three names Liz Hurley publishes under. She writes crime as Anna Penrose, and women's fiction and Cornwall walking guides under her own name. All of it comes from the same small press in Cornwall — the different names are there to help readers find the kind of book they're after, not to hide anything.
